Indian Welcome Plaques

Recently we had a very interesting project to complete, for an Indian customer looking for "greeting plaques" which are put up at the entrance of homes to welcome guests. He is selling these plaques in his shop in Forsburg, so if anyone is interested in buying one please contact us!

This was really fun to do because we had to first carve the positives for the moulds, then get the moulds pulled and finally cast them. But the work was not finished here....after the concrete had cured sufficiently there was painting, sanding & even a bit of mosaic to do – followed by 2 coats of sealer to finish it off.

This job proved to be very labour intensive but the end result gave such satisfaction that it made the efforts seem worthwhile.
